“Well, the Gateway Camp is actually something very interesting and new, and we feel that what it offers supports the program that we have, particularly for our career guidance activities where we want to train and expose students to different career opportunities so that they will be more open to the possibilities that they have.
Right after high school. So Gateway, I believe, is innovating something very, very relevant to what our students need and what it could complement to what the school program has.
Aside from, of course, enjoying Singapore a lot in all its culture and different sites that they have been. It’s really learning from each other and getting to know more about the opportunities that they have here, particularly with the different colleges that they’ve visited. So some of the students have been telling me, I’ve been overhearing them saying they didn’t want to go home, they wanted to stay.”
Ms. Thet, the Vice President of De La Salle University Manila , finds the Gateway Camp to be a perfect complement to their existing programs. The camp exposes students to various career options, helping them explore possibilities beyond high school. Ms. Thet believes the Gateway Camp is innovative and precisely what students need.
